Ho trovato perfino un video sul ristorante dove ho mangiato...

Ad Harvard non c'è solo un'ottima università, ma c'è anche un ristorante dove ho mangiato l'hamburger più buono che io abbia mai gustato fino ad oggi. Il suo nome è Mr Bartley's, e se passate da Boston fateci un passaggio.

Navigando in rete, non mi sembra di essere l'unico blogger che apprezza il piatto tipico della cucina americana.

Vi riporto sotto il menù, vi farà ridere. Per i burgers vengono usati nomi di fantasia e nomi dei più importanti politici statunitensi.

Del posto, ho apprezzato molto che non servissero birra e che non accettassero carte di credito (penso uno degli ultimi posti rimsati, mi fa quasi senso veder pagare il caffe con la carta di credito). Il locale è in stile americano, con tavoli di legno ben robusti e con la cucina ben visibile. Io ho mangiato uno "STIMULUS PACKAGE", con moltissima cipolla e degli ottimi fagioli e ve lo consiglio. La qualit di tutte le materie prime era ottima, la carne era squisita, la cipolla forte ma non troppo, e nonostante i 150 grammi di carne la digestione è filata liscia come l'olio. Questo per dire che non sono assolutamente contro l'hamburger; se fatto con carne di qualità ed un pane serio è un pasto vero.

Il mio sogno nel cassetto è il burger di cinghiale, che chiamerei "WILD BURGER". Vorrei farlo con un ottimo pane di segale con semi di sesamo e comino, della carne di cinghiale ben frollata e cotta al punto giusto, molta cipolla, lattughini selvatici freschi di campo, pomodori ciliegini ed un filo di ottimo olio extravergine di oliva.

 

Il "Wild burger" è il mio sogno gastroamericano nel cassetto...
